FAQ: Apple Classroom
What is Apple Classroom? Apple Classroom is an iPad and Mac app that lets teachers guide and direct students on their iPad. Teachers can remotely open an app on all student iPads, lock iPad screens, view a webpage, and more. How often do Apple Classroom rosters update? Apple Classroom rosters update once a week. Who can use Apple Classroom? Apple Classroom is available for teachers or Co-teachers. Other staff such as EAs, TAs and support staff do not have access unless they are listed as a co-teacher in Campus. How can I solve common Apple Classroom issues? If you are experiencing issues with Apple Classroom, please verify/perform the following before reporting an issue: Confirm with your school clerk that your class is rostered correctly in Campus. Delete the Classroom app on your iPad and reinstall it. Update your iPad (and the students' iPads) to the latest iOS version Confirm that students do not have bluetooth disabled and are connected to WiFi.

OpenVPN Install via Software Center in Windows
*** Requirements: Must be logged in with staff Active Directory account. *** Must be on SPPS network or connected to SPPS network via VPN. 1. Click search box near Windows button (bottom left corner of screen). 2. Type "software" in the box, then find "Software Center" in the list and click on it. 3. Once Software Center opens, click Applications in the list on the left side. 4. Locate and click OpenVPN icon. 5. Click Install button.

***** Requirement: Must login with staff Active Directory credentials 1. Click on Finder. 2. Click on Applications. 3. Click on Utilities. 4. Double-click Self-Service icon to open it. 5. Log Into Self-Service (bottom left corner) using your Active Directory, (e######, password) (This is what you use to log into your computer.) 6. Type openVPN in the search bar (top left corner). 7. Click Install button for OpenVPN.

Sign In iPad FAST On the home screen, look for the FAST icon. Computer Login it at spps.org/fast Teachers/Specialists: Login in with active directory (e + employee number) and password Students: Login in with active directory (s + student number) and password Administering Assessments for K-1 (See grades 2-8 on page 2) Click on Screening Click on All Assessments Screening K-1: Click on earlyReading Click on the clock:Enter scores from paper pencil assessments or enter scores as students are tested. aReading is available for students who you know can read. Green assessments are the required FALL assessments. The others are optional. BE SURE TO CLICK SUBMIT at the bottom of the screen. To View Reports: Looks at the top of the Screening Page: To see F & P Text Level Correlation: Choose the reporting tab on the top and scroll down to Screening to Intervention Report. Look for the field Lexile or Basal, then click on the left to change it to Fountas and Pinnell, Lexile, etc. At the top of the screening report click on individual reports. How to update a Mac
For Macs on Monterey or Earlier For Macs on Ventura or Later For Macs on Monterey or Earlier (Scroll Down for Ventura or Later) Open System Preferences from Apple menu or the Gear icon on the dock. Click Software Update Click Upgrade Now Click Agree Verify your name appears and enter your AD Password. Then Click OK. (If your password won't work or name doesn't appear try opening Self Service and running "Upgrade to MacOS Ventura". If that doesn't work, contact a Field Tech to update) It will take approximately a half hour to install, restart and be ready to use again. For Macs on Ventura Open System Settings from the Apple Menu or the Gear icon on the dock. Click General and then Software Update Wait for the Mac to stop checking for updates. When it’s done click Update Now. Click Agree Verify your name appears and enter AD Password and then click OK. It will take approximately a half hour to install, restart and be ready to use again.

How to access a Shared Mailbox in Outlook Online
With Multi-factor authentication (MFA) the process to signing into your email will be changing slightly but once you are signed in the process to open a shared mailbox is the same. Visit: https://outlook.office.com from your web browser. Sign in with your @spps.org email and Active Directory password. In the top right corner, left-click your initials or image. See initial T in the example below. Left-click Open another mailbox. Enter the email address of the shared mailbox you wish to open. Select the email address. Click Open.
